When it comes to proving that students have learned something, Bloom’s Taxonomy is a foundational tool to help teachers guide students from basic acquisition to higher order thinking skills.
In a digital world, it’s easy to assume that students have lost the ability to read or write well, but that is inaccurate. Digital literacy is still a literacy and one in which great learning and collaboration takes place.
For that reason, I prefer looking at the Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy, visualized here by Ron Carranza.
